Biathlon World Cup 3 Pokljuka – Women’s Pursuit: Gossner Rules, Germany!

Round 3 of women’s Pursuit just finished a few minutes ago in Pokljuka, Slovenia.

Miriam Gossner that started the pursuit in second won the race although missing 5 shots.

Gabriela Soukolova – Czech Republic – although recording a perfect 20 out of 20 shots was 2nd and climbed also to 2nd in the Word Cup overall standings.

Marie Dorin Habert  (France) took the last podium (she started 5th).

Word Cup overall leader – Tora Berger – started 27th but finished inside Top 10 (9th) as we predicted and kept her yellow bib.

Darya Domracheva (Belarus) did not start the pursuit since she was absent from yesterday’s sprint due to illness (flu). These 2 missed races cost her falling from 2nd overall in the World Cup standings to 3rd place.
