Formula 1 – FIA announces 2013 calendar changes

Following a today meeting of its World Motor Sport Council in Turkey, FIA has announced some revisions to the 2013 calendar previously disclosed and of which we gave notice on an earlier post.

The German race moved forward a week to July 7th. Also an additional date of July 21th has been reserved for another F1 European event, subject to the approval of the relevant national sporting authorities. In this sense, a second US Grand Prix that was initially foreseen (but not confirmed at that time) is no more in the 2013 schedule.

The 2013 calendar is now as follows:

24/03 Malaysia
14/04 China
21/04 Bahrain
12/05 Spain
26/05 Monaco
