Portugal Golf industry just won the second international award in one month time.  It is now certified as a premium destination for the practice of Golf by two relevant tourism awards. In October Portugal won the best international golf destination from World Travel Awards 2012, now it was awarded with the “Short Haul Destination of the Year for Golf Holidays” from  Travel Agent Choice Awards 2012 (PDF) .

All this will be topped by the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) which will be held from 12nd of November onward in Algarve, Portugal. To this  event will attend more than 600 golf tourism suppliers among which should appear some of the more than 80 Portuguese golf courses of international level.  You can find out who will be represented in the IGTM browsing thru the Exhibitor List 2012.
