António Félix da Costa registered another amazing performance at the last race of World Series by Renault. After starting 3rd on the grid (Sunday morning qualification was held under a wet track), Félix da Costa was already first after turn 1 due to an impressive start after green lights. He ended the race with almost 30 seconds advantage showing he is a pilot apart from all other pilots.
With this win, Félix da Costa gathered to records in this year’s season of World Series By Renault: (i) He was the only pilot managing to win both races in the same weekend (Catalunya); (ii) He was the pilot with more race wins (4) although he failed 5 of the 18 races of the championship, since he was running in GP3 where he ended 3rd in final classification.
Formula 1 teams, look at this guy, he is a brilliant driver. But Red Bull already has him in their young drivers programme….
