Portuguese António Félix da Costa starts today a 2 day (November 6th and 7th) test in Abu Dhabi driving for Red Bull in Mark Webber’s car.

Just for your reference: Yesterday’s race fastest lap was Vettel’s with 1.43.964.
The Pole Position belonged to Lewis Hamilton with 1.40.630.
Webber Qualified with 1.40.978 and his best lap in the race was a mere 1.46.959 since he retired in lap 32.
Update1: First results already available from António Félix da Costa today’s test in Abu Dhabi: 2nd best record (1.42.717), just one tenth of a second below the best time (Kevin Magnussen in a Mclaren). GREAT TIME LAP!! The other 4 testing drivers (including one in a Lotus) drove all above 1.45.000. Félix da Costa drove with a rather heavy car (fuel charged) and made several set up adjustments during the session.
The tests will go on in the afternoon, but for now…great, great first results for António Félix da Costa!!!
Update 2: António Félix da Costa just ended the 2nd day morning test in Abu Dhabi recording the best time of all 6 test drivers, with a best lap of 1.42.679, meaning he was faster than yesterday. The second fastest car (Gary Paffet’s Mclaren) was more than a second slower. Félix da Costa did this lap with medium compound tyres. When he tried for soft tyres a problem in KERS system did not allow him to improve his time.
As yesterday, tests will go on in the afternoon.
