Macau GP3 – António Félix da Costa wins qualifying race

Portuguese driver António Félix da Costa won today the qualifying race of Macau’s GP3 Grand Prix.

Félix da Costa started 2nd on the grid but managed to reach 1st place within 1st lap and cruised smoothly to the end, winning over a 1.5 seconds advantage.

Félix da Costa, a Red Bull’s programme young driver since June 2012, made a brilliant season finish in World Series by Renault (winning 4 of the last 5 season races) and tested recently a Red Bull’s F1 in Abu Dhabi recording the second best time of all test drivers that participated in that 3 day event.
